First Lady Bethea is the wife of Bishop T. J. Bethea, PhD. She serves as the Pastor’s wife and is devoted to the vision of her husband’s ministry and her principal calling as his wife. She currently strives to help her husband “perfect the ministry”.  She grew up as a member of “The Greater Springfield Missionary Baptist Church” (Warner Robins, Ga.).

Her husbands teaching inspire her to challenge herself, and to challenge others to develop a strong relationship with GOD. Her goal is always to be useful and productive for the cause and work of Christ in all things and in all ways. She passionately encourages women to seek GOD first, and be yourself so that GOD can bless the true you. She also encourages them to maintain self-control, have dignity, set high moral standards and avoid talking about things that would hurt others feelings.

She graduated from Northside Senior High School, in Warner Robins, Georgia. From there, she would attend Fort Valley State University, where she received her BA in Business Management.  She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is a certified Housing Manager for HUD and a Fair Housing Counselor for the National Affordable Housing Management Association, and she is also a Notary for the State of North Carolina.

First Lady Bethea’s favorite scripture is Isaiah 61:1, “The spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord God hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound”. This is her favorite scripture because it describes her husbands calling from GOD and his continued work for the up-building of GOD’s kingdom.
