First Lady Bethea is the wife of Bishop T. J. Bethea, Ph.D. She serves as the Pastor’s wife and is devoted to the vision of her husband’s ministry and her principal calling as his wife. She currently strives to help her husband “perfect the ministry”. She serves in many capacities in the church, she has a strong passion for the women ministry in the church where she serves as president.  She grew up as a member of “The Greater Springfield Missionary Baptist Church” (Warner Robins, Ga.).

Her husband’s teaching inspires her to challenge herself, and to challenge others to develop a strong relationship with GOD. Her goal is always to be useful and productive for the cause and work of Christ in all things and all ways. She passionately encourages women to seek GOD first and be themselves so that GOD can bless the true you. She also encourages them to maintain self-control, have dignity, set high moral standards and avoid talking about things that would hurt others’ feelings. 

She graduated from Northside Senior High School, in Warner Robins, Georgia. She has been a Regional Manager for many years for Wynnefield Management. She is a certified Housing Manager for HUD and a Fair Housing Counselor for the National Affordable Housing Management Association, and she is also a Notary for the State of North Carolina.

First Lady Bethea’s favorite scripture is Isaiah 61:1, “The spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord God hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound”. This is her favorite scripture because it describes her husband’s calling from GOD and his continued work for the upbuilding of GOD’s kingdom.
